These Booking Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between you, “the client”, and us, Cinnamon Holidays (Pvt) Ltd (“Cinnamon Holidays”). By booking an excursion with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully and make sure you understand and are able to abide by them.
Furthermore, you confirm that you will be providing us with your personal data and hereby expressly consent to the use of such data for the purpose of the booking made with you. This includes express permission to share the personal data information with your service providers and agents. You also further expressly consent to the use of your personal data to promote products and services of our Company or brand. You confirm that you have read through our data policy and have understood your rights in relation to the personal data which you are providing to us.
You shall be responsible for filling the booking documents with accurate information and requisite details and submitting the same to Cinnamon Holidays.
Upon receiving your completed booking form and full payment, Cinnamon Holidays shall take steps to confirm the booking in respect of the selected excursion.
the confirmation and resultant booking ticket shall upon acceptance and verification by Cinnamon Holidays be delivered to you within 24 hours of receipt of your booking and full payment. A Cinnamon Holidays experienced agent will start to assist you in building a pleasant travel plan according to your special requirements thereafter.

Cinnamon Holidays reserves the right to decline your booking or withdraw you from the excursion at any time if it reasonably believes it to be in your best interests or the best interests of the excursion. Cinnamon Holiday’s maximum liability in such event shall not exceed the monies paid to Cinnamon Holiday’s by the client in respect of such excursion and in the event that a booking is declined any monies deposited will automatically be refunded less any cancellation and bank charges.
The client in making the booking undertakes for himself/herself and/or as agent for any person named on the booking form that he/she and any such person shall at all times conduct themselves in a reasonable and sober manner, in compliance with all applicable laws and with due regard to the safety of other members of the excursion and their enjoyment of the excursion and will comply with all reasonable requests of any guide accompanying the excursion. Any breach of this undertaking may give rise to the person in breach being required to withdraw from the excursion and to pay all expenses relating thereto.
The client is advised to acquaint himself/herself with the climate of the area in which the excursion will be made and the physical requirements necessary to enjoy the excursion. In the event that the client or any member of his party suffers any sickness or injury that person may be required to withdraw from the excursion. However, Cinnamon Holidays will provide all reasonable information as is available on expected physical conditions, necessary for the client to select the excursion.
The client is responsible for abiding with any safety instructions and recommendations provided to him/her. Cinnamon Holidays shall not be responsible for any resultant loss or damage as a result of the failure of the client in this regard.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that he/she and those on whose behalf he/she booked the excursion has all necessary travel documents (passports, visas, travel insurance etc.) and to conform with relevant health regulations regarding vaccinations.
Cinnamon Holidays will make every effort to operate all excursions as described in the relevant booking confirmation but it reserves the right at its discretion to modify or cancel any excursion arrangement based on the existing field conditions. Such material modification or cancellation may be made by Cinnamon Holidays as a result of a force majeure event (including acts of God, war, and threat of war, hostilities, riots, civil commotion, strikes, disaster, and terrorist activity) or any other circumstances outside its control. In such an event the client will be notified and suitable alternative arrangements (as far as practicable) will be proposed. In the event of those alternative arrangements not being acceptable to the client, Cinnamon Holidays will make any refund of monies paid as deposit or otherwise.
Full Payment for the selected excursion needs to be done prior to the start of the excursion.
Cinnamon Holidays reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency fluctuations, taxes, or fuel surcharges.
Method of payment will be online via credit card.

We would feel sorry if you decided to cancel your trip; however we realize in most cases, it is out of necessity.
If you must cancel your trip, please submit your cancellation in written form via email to Cinnamon Holidays (Email – email@example.com). Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.

After the trip commence, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services (may include but not limit to hotels, air or train tickets, meals, admission fees) due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on excursions.
After receiving the cancellation email Cinnamon Holidays will verify such cancellation and write back to you. Should your cancellation come within the timelines set out above entitling you to a refund of the whole or part of the booking fees paid by you, we will request for your banking details in order for us to make the refund. Cinnamon Holidays will require a minimum of seven (7) working days for any refunds to be made after receiving the cancellation email.
You are required to consider the nature of the excursion and ensure that you are fit to participate in the excursion. You shall advise Cinnamon Holidays in writing, prior to booking, of any physical or mental condition which you may have and require specific medication or special equipment. You shall be responsible for bringing such medication and equipment for the excursion. Should you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own collapsible wheelchair. Please note not all of our excursions are wheelchair-accessible and therefore we recommend that you clarify the same with us prior to making your booking.
Due to safety reasons we are unable to entertain bookings in respect of females who are pregnant.
Cinnamon Holidays reserves the right to decline confirmation of your booking should it deem that the excursion may affect your health or safety.
We also advise that you
consider all international travel risks and health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the governmental safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements in countries you are going to visit or transit.
The client is responsible for obtaining full travel and health insurance. It is recommended that the client read their insurance policy before travelling to ensure that the insurance provides the client with the appropriate amount of coverage required by the client.
Cinnamon Holidays shall attend to any claims and/or complaints of the client in respect of the services provided which are brought to its notice as soon as possible and in no event later that 7 days from the date of occurrence of such event giving rise to such claim or compliant. The claim or complaint shall be provided with sufficient details and available evidence in order for Cinnamon Holidays to investigate into the matter. Cinnamon Holidays shall not be held liable in the event of the client’s failure to lodge in his/her complaint within such a time limit.
It is regrettable that we cannot bear liability or compensate where the performance of our obligations is hampered or affected by any event beyond our reasonable control including in respect of any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from–but not limited to–acts of God and force majeure (force majeure shall include war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, government actions, terrorism, industrial disputes, extreme weather conditions, epidemics fire, road closures, pilferage, quarantines, dangers incident to sea, land and air travel).
Cinnamon Holidays while facilitating the services of third party service providers is not responsible for the services provided by such service providers as they are beyond the control of Cinnamon Holidays. Therefore the client agrees that Cinnamon Holidays shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not owned or operated by Cinnamon Holidays. By utilizing the travel services of the suppliers, you agree that you will look to such suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither Cinnamon Holidays nor any representative of Cinnamon Holidays shall be responsible or liable for the same. However, should you need assistance with a claim or complaint you may have against such third-party service provider, Cinnamon Holidays without any obligation on its part, may assist you with notifying such service provider of your claim.
The client is responsible for ensuring the safety of his/her personnel belongings and Cinnamon Holidays shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the same.
Please understand that not all attractions and museums are open every day of the year. Thus, Cinnamon Holiday’s reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that enables the Client to visit all or most of the listed excursions. The itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions shall be made by Cinnamon Holidays.
Many of the Cinnamon Holidays excursion packages include activities that require care and attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, trekking, climbing hills, entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives during such excursions, but please bear in mind that you are the sole judge of what you are able to do and not do and thus all activities are undertaken at your own risk. Cinnamon Holidays, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its employees and agents have executed their duty and taken the necessary care.
The client is required to provide full and accurate details in the form required by us in order for us to process the booking made by the client. We are not in a position to confirm or process any bookings made by the client in the event that the client does not provide such personal data as required.
Cinnamon Holidays confirms that all personal information provided by the you will be used for the purposes of facilitating the booking/s made by you and to promote the products and services of the Company and its brand. We may provide and /or transfer such personal data to our service providers, agents and other parties as required for the purpose of facilitating the booking made by you.
Such personal data will be stored for a period not exceeding 12 months. The client shall have the right to request from us, access to, any rectification or erasure of personal data provided to us or to restrict the processing of such data. The client shall also have the right to withdraw his/her consent for us to use the personal data at any time in writing, provided that any processing of data prior to the withdrawal of such consent shall not be rendered unlawful. Furthermore, if the client is an EU data subject, the client shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the event that there is a breach of the relevant data protection regulations.
We are incorporated in Sri Lanka and therefore operate under the Laws of Sri Lanka. Your booking together with these terms and conditions shall be subject to Sri Lankan law
